Your records stay on your device.
Dukart's Digest is an equine education application covering anatomy, health, horsemanship, management, and industry.
Everything you record about your horses stays on your device. The one exception is the Ailah AI assistant, which has to send your messages over the internet in order to answer them. This policy explains exactly what that means.
Horse profiles, health and vital sign logs, medication and farrier records, weight and body condition entries, care schedules, quiz results, progress tracking, bookmarks, and every other record you enter. All of it is stored locally and never leaves your device.
We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell your records. There are no accounts, no logins, and no cloud backup. We have no way to see what you have entered.
Ailah is an optional AI chat feature. It only activates when you choose to open it and send a message. If you never use it, the app makes no network requests at all.
When you do send Ailah a message, here is what happens:
No account, name, email address, or device identifier is attached to these messages. We do not build a profile of you and we do not use your conversations to identify you.
Because your messages pass through Anthropic's API, their handling is also governed by Anthropic's privacy policy. Cloudflare processes the connection as our hosting provider.
If you use the thumbs up or down button on an Ailah reply, that rating and the exchange it refers to are sent to our server so the assistant can be improved.
Practical guidance: treat Ailah like any online chat. Don't send it anything you would not want transmitted off your device.
We use no analytics, no advertising networks, no crash reporting, and no tracking tools of any kind. Nothing about your usage is measured or reported.
The only external services involved are Cloudflare and Anthropic, and only for the Ailah chat described above.
Every part of the app except Ailah works with no internet connection. Learning content, quizzes, calculators, reference guides, and all record keeping function entirely offline.
We collect no personal information from anyone, including children. The Ailah chat transmits only what a user types into it, with no identifying information attached.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here. The core principle — your records stay on your device — will not change.
